Experts to discuss mini-grids, gas-to-power as Future Energy Nigeria holds Nov 13

Power experts, stakeholders will share  success stories, case studies as well as practical solutions that will have immediate impact on the performance of utilities and large power users, renewables, mini grids and Gas-to-Power in Nigeria, at the upcoming 15th edition of Future Energy Nigeria.

The event will hold between November 13 and 14, 2018, at the Conference, Expo and Knowledge Hub of Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, Nigeria.

The free-to-attend power event is aimed at assisting the local power producers and large power consumers to address the country’s insufficient generation capacity.

The strategic conference on Revenue Cycle Management and Metering will also assist utilities to increase their efficiency.

Discussants at the conference include: the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Renewvia Energy Corporation, Trey Jarrard; the Director of Investment Sector Development, Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing (Power Sector), Ms. Emontonghan Osaisai; Sales and Marketing Manager, Jubaili Bros Engineering Limited, George Kai; the Chief Driving Officer, Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), Ravindra Joshi; the Managing Director of ADROIT Metering Services Limited, Bello Oladipo and the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Dr. Rajeev Singh, among others.

The event is organized with the official support of the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, the host utilities: Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), Ikeja Electric and Skipper Seil.

More than 70 leading global and local technology services providers, including country pavilions from South Africa and India, will feature at the exhibition.

There will also be a site visit to the Eko Atlantic and the largest thermal power plants in Sub-Saharan Africa, Egbin Power Plc.

There will also be series of high-level meetings that give stakeholders the opportunity to step away from the ‘business as usual’ and access top class leadership and strategic support. The Utility CEO Forums are closed-door boardroom meetings, by invitation only and facilitated under Chatham House Rules.

The meetings pave the way for transformation by discussing issues of strategic planning and in Lagos the Forum will support Nigeria’s power leaders (including Discos, Gencos and IPPs) to collaborate and focus on unique in-country challenges.
