More than 8,500 energy professionals, over 200 exhibitors and 120 speakers are expected to participate in Nigeria Energy 2026, which begins today at the Landmark Centre in Lagos.
The three-day event, scheduled for October 27 to 29, is being held under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Power and is expected to bring together stakeholders across Nigeria’s power and wider energy sectors to discuss industry challenges, showcase technologies and explore business opportunities.
The event will feature exhibitions, technical sessions and conferences covering key issues affecting the energy sector, including digital grid security, artificial intelligence in project management, energy efficiency and engineering innovation.
One of the major attractions is the Technical Excellence Forum, which will offer free sessions to participants on practical solutions to challenges facing Nigeria’s power sector.
Sessions will include discussions on protecting connected power infrastructure against cyber threats, using artificial intelligence to improve project planning and performance, and a masterclass organised by the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
Kedo Osariere Allwell, Head of Research at the National Centre for Energy Efficiency and Conservation, is also expected to speak on strategies for reducing energy consumption in the healthcare and hospitality sectors.
Other industry leaders expected to feature in the wider conference programme include Abdu Bello Mohammed, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO); Pradeep Pursnani, Chief Executive Officer of Konexa; and Edu Okeke, Managing Director of Azura Power.
More than 200 exhibitors, including Skipper, Jubaili Bros, BLUETTI and Sun King, are expected to showcase their products and solutions, providing opportunities for industry players to explore new technologies, establish partnerships and discuss investment prospects.
The exhibition will run daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Landmark Centre, Lagos, with organisers encouraging interested participants to register ahead of the event and obtain their electronic badges.
