In its efforts to build on the success recorded at the recently-concluded Sustainable Energy Finance Workshop (SEFi 2018), First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has announced that it will hold a ‘Blockchain networking event’ aiming to improving participants’ knowledge of blockchain technology as a useful tool for Renewable Energy Solutions.
The networking event tagged: ‘Blockchain Technology in Energy Access Finance for Africa’, will hold on Wednesday, 5th September, 2018, at the First City Monument Bank (FCMB), 38 Adeola Hopewell St, Victoria Island, Lagos, by 9.30 am.Expected speakers at the event include: the Executive Director, Business Development, FCMB, Mrs Bukola Smith; Chief Executive Officer, All On, Wiebe Boer; the Director of Climate Finance Advisor, Dr Jubril Adeojo; President of the African Mini-Grid Developers Association (AMDA), Mr Alexander Obiechina; Private Enterprise Officer, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Jodi-Kaye and the Vice President, One Watt Solar (OWS), Victor Alagbe.
