JinkoSolar, a leading global provider of photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage solutions (ESS), has announced a major milestone with the shipment of its 400th gigawatt (GW) of solar modules.

This achievement marks the company’s fourth “100 GW” benchmark, following earlier industry-leading milestones of 200 GW and 300 GW in cumulative shipments. The total installed capacity is estimated to generate enough electricity to power approximately 40 million homes worldwide.

Over the years, JinkoSolar has continued to push the boundaries of solar innovation, delivering high-performance products designed for diverse markets and environmental conditions. Its solutions span utility-scale projects and distributed generation systems, each contributing to a cleaner, more resilient global energy landscape.

Looking ahead, the company notes that the next phase of solar development will go beyond cost reduction. The industry is expected to increasingly focus on maximizing the overall value that solar technology delivers to the broader energy system—enhancing efficiency, integration, and long-term sustainability.
