The Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has been awarded the Fellowship of the Energy Institute, one of the highest honours in the global energy industry.

The Fellowship was conferred at International Energy Week in London, recognising Ojulari’s sustained contributions to the energy sector and his transformative leadership at NNPC Ltd.

In a statement issued in Abuja, the company described the award as a strong endorsement of its ongoing reforms and global repositioning. It noted that under Ojulari’s leadership, NNPC Ltd has strengthened governance, enhanced operational efficiency, and expanded strategic partnerships, boosting investor confidence in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

The recognition comes amid Federal Government reforms aimed at improving oil production, gas utilisation, and the commercial viability of NNPC Ltd.
