Reps urge TCN to improve power supply to Kano

The House of Representatives Committee on Privatisation and Commercialisation, has called on the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) to quickly complete the ongoing repairs on 150MVA and 60MVA transformers in Kano state with a view to improving electricity supply to the state.

The Deputy Chairman of the committee, Honourable Shadimu Mutiu, made the call recently in Kano, Kano State, during an oversight visit to Kumbotso Transmission Station and Danagundi Sub-station respectively.

Mutiu said they were in Kano on a fact-finding  mission with a view to addressing the issues between the Electricity Distribution Companies (DISCOs) and the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
