The yearning to ensure qualitative and stable power supply to Nigerians has made the federal government to install two 15 Mega Volt Ampere (MVA) capacity transformers to boost electricity supply to Lagos State residents.

The projects would go a long way in boosting the economy of the state through the expansion and sustainability of small scale businesses.

They would also help to address key bottlenecks in the distribution network and access to affordable and reliable electricity service to Nigerians.

The two injection substations which are located at Amikanle and Abule Taylor under Ikeja Electricity distribution company will boost power supply to the disco by about by 12.1 megawatts.
