German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex announced an order on Thursday of seven of its advanced N149/5.X turbines by wind park developer DenkerWulf.
The order includes maintenance of the systems over 20 years, Nordex said in a statement.
The Nordex Group will supply the turbines, each with a nominal output of 5.7 megawatts, from spring 2025.
DenkerWulf is considered one of the leading wind farm developers in Germany.
The turbines are destined for the Waabs wind farm on the Baltic coast near Eckernförde, in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein, with an expected output of 39.9 megawatts.
“The current deal flow with Nordex makes it possible to conclude contracts quickly and straightforwardly,” said DenkerWulf chief executive Torsten Levsen.
