Expect reliable, stable power supply, Fashola assure Nigerians

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, has assured Nigerians to expect more stable and reliable electric supply.
He stated this on Thursday, while declaring open the 6th Powering Africa Nigeria Summit, at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, in Abuja. The event was organised by the EnergyNet Limited.
While commending the Managing Director of EnergyNet’s Limited, Mr Simon Gosling, for organising the programme and its efforts in projecting and promoting Nigeria’s power sector, he said the country has benefitted greatly from its activities and events, which had brought about many remarkable investment opportunities that have contributed to Nigeria’s economic prowess.
In his address at the event, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dell’Amore Consultancy Limited (Nigeria partner of EnergyNet), Alhaji Idris Mohammed appreciated EnergyNet and the Federal Government for providing enabling environment for investors, who are daily exploring investment opportunities in Nigeria.
Among those who attended the event are: Emir of Borgu Kingdom and the Chairman of Dell’Amore Consultancy Limited, HRH, Alhaji Sani Mohammed Dantoro;  former Minister of Power, Professor Barth Nnaji; Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Mrs Damilola Ogunbiyi; Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, Kaduna North; government representatives; investors; financial institutions; energy stakeholders among others.
