Kartel Energy Limited, a Nigerian original equipment manufacturer (OEM) dedicated to delivering reliable and sustainable power solutions, has strengthened its footprint in the renewable energy sector with the launch of two innovative product lines — Ensky Solar and the GenixGreen & Luxxwatt Lithium Battery Series.
The products were unveiled at the Powerelec Nigeria Exhibition 2026 in Lagos, marking a significant milestone in the company’s mission to provide clean energy solutions tailored to Nigeria’s unique power challenges.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive Officer of Kartel Energy, Ola Ogunsemowo, described the Ensky Solar range as a collection of high-quality, affordable, and durable solar street lights designed for optimal performance. He noted that the street lights are equipped with advanced features such as motion sensors, integrated solar panels, and high-brightness LED bulbs.
According to him, the products offer up to 48-hour battery life, IP65 weather resistance, and brightness of 6,500 lumens. They are competitively priced and come with warranties ranging from two to three years.
Ogunsemowo explained that the GenixGreen line focuses on high-voltage battery systems of up to 768V, specifically engineered for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. These include factories, industrial facilities, residential estates, institutions, and large-scale developments where high load capacity, scalability, and intelligent power management are essential.
He noted that GenixGreen systems are built to meet large energy demands while significantly reducing dependence on diesel generators.
In contrast, Luxxwatt targets low-voltage lithium battery solutions for homes, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), retail outlets, clinics, schools, and other small to mid-scale institutions. The systems are designed to prioritise stability, durability, and affordability, making clean and dependable energy accessible to everyday Nigerian users.
“Together, GenixGreen and Luxxwatt complement Ensky Solar by covering the full spectrum of power conversion and storage needs. This enables Kartel Energy to deliver tailored solutions, from entry-level residential systems to large-scale industrial deployments,” Ogunsemowo said.
He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to engineering solutions specifically for the Nigerian environment, taking into account the country’s unreliable national grid and frequent power outages.
Kartel Energy has already powered over 150,000 homes and businesses nationwide and is set to expand its reach through strategic partnerships and the launch of the Kartel Energy Academy.
With the introduction of these new products, the company further consolidates its position as a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions in Nigeria, addressing the nation’s growing and urgent power needs.
