Ikeja Electric commissions additional feeders in Igbogbo, Ikorodu

In demonstration of her commitment and dedication to excellent service delivery. The Nigeria’s largest distribution network, Ikeja Electric, has recently commissioned additional feeders within her Ikorodu network area. The additional feeders are for Bayeku feeder at Igbogbo injection substation and Ladega 11KV feeder at Sabo Injection Substation.

According to Ikeja Electric, the feeders are expected to stabilize electricity and largely reduce loadshedding being experienced by residence of Macaulay, Fashola Estate, Ilado, Agufoye, Jaiyesinmi, Oriwu, Elepe, Iwajowa, Harmony, Borokini, Baiyeku, Agbeni, areas of Ikorodu. As a result of excess load, especially during peak periods, both Bayeku and Ladega 11KV feeders were experiencing frequent tripping.

In response to the switch rate at which the work was completed, a resident of the area, Mrs Junaid commended the pace at which the work was completed, noting that the impact of the project on the communities is impressive.

On its part, Ikeja Electric has assured customers of her unwavering commitment to excellent service delivery and urged them to continue to support the initiative the company intends to implement by paying their bill regularly and promptly.
