Tbea Energy to build 400MW power plant in Delta

A company, Onose Tbea Energy Limited registered in Nigeria and determined to stop poor power supply in the country is set to build a 400MW Combined Power Plant at Ekrokpe and Ekrejegbe communities in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the Managing Director of the company, Mr Jim Elueni Onose, stated that the groundbreaking ceremony to kick-start the construction of a 400MW Combine Power Plant by Tbea Energy Limited will hold on 5th April 2018 at the two host communities.

Onose who said President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to perform the ceremony added that his company has the latest technologies and is going to be a combined cycle power to be powered in the first stage by gas and it will be enhanced by the stream to 400MW and planned to use 200MW ultimately at several occasions.

According to him, “the company has come to stay in Ekrokpe/Ekrejegbe, we are set to reduce unemployment as you can see the level of work done here, most of the staff are the youths from the host communities, the supply is principally done by the members of the host community.

“Building the company here in Delta state will reduce restiveness among youths and it will promote the economy of the country in terms of development. We are partners with other countries like China and America in this project,” he added.
